Coyotes and roadrunners are frequent visitors in my yard, but Iām still waiting for the day when Wile E. Coyote and the Road Runner show up at the same time.
As youāll see in this video, the coyote is still up to mischief – spoiling the water or scattering crumbs I leave out for the birds. Just like in the classic cartoon, heās being naughty. Iām pretty sure Santa is keeping an eye on him this year.
I truly enjoy watching wildlife, and I hope you do too – because these moments always make me giggle. And did you know thereās a positive link between laughter and longevity? Yep! Laughing might actually help you live longer.
Hereās why laughter is good for your health:
- Stress reduction:Ā Laughter lowers stress hormones like cortisol, which in excess can harm your body.
- Immune boost:Ā It increases infection-fighting antibodies and activates natural killer cells.
- Heart health:Ā It improves blood vessel function and blood flow, protecting your heart.
- Pain relief:Ā Laughter triggers endorphins – your bodyās natural painkillers.
- Social connection:Ā Laughing strengthens bonds, and strong relationships are tied to better health and longer life.
So no, laughter isnāt magic – but itās pretty close! It might just add years to your life – and definitely more joy to the ones youāve got. Did I make you smile today?
Thatās my kitchen table rambling for today.
Maybe Iām overthinking it⦠or maybe ā not.
Share your thoughts ā letās figure it out together.
